Our
daily life involves hundreds and hundreds of products, consumer
and industrial, on which we depend. Most products are safe
and do not cause serious injury. However, there are many
products which are either defective in design, warning or
manufacture which can produce devastating injuries. Examples
include electric blankets that catch on fire, car brakes
that fail, heaters that cause fires, heavy exercise equipment
that can fall, hair dryers that overheat and can catch fire,
toys containing lead, defective child car restraints, tires
that can blow, lawn mowers with no backup warnings and many
more. Products liability cases are complicated and expensive
to pursue since the manufacturers and sellers fight hard.
