Each
year in Washington there are many hard working people in
the construction trades who become seriously injured. Employers
often do not follow appropriate Washington State safety
guidelines and the result can be catastrophic injury or
death. While employees covered by worker's compensation
laws cannot sue their employer except in exceptional circumstances,
often the negligence that causes injury is from another
contractor or individual. Because of the heavy nature of
construction work, the injuries experienced are often very
serious and disabling.
